As mentioned above, there is creation of Permanent Mold Casting Products in two halves, which are then separated once the part has completely solidified and is ready to be removed. To prevent the piece from sticking to the mold the interior surfaces of the cavity are sometimes coated with a material. In the mold there is presence of ejector pins. After ejection, any excess material left such as flash or material from runners, will be trimmed. From here through processes such as heat treat, age, and other necessary finishing requirements parts will be moved.
