Geography Optional (Applied Geomorphology)

Applied geomorphology is a growing and evolving field of knowledge. In recent years, practical application of geomorphic principles for finding the solution of the problems faced by mankind is increasingly recognised. Today, frequent cases of landslides, flood, soil erosion and various construction and development projects have given rise to all kinds of environmental problems. In this context understanding of geomorphology is important for various sections of Geography optional for CSE Mains examination. This topic is equally applied for disaster management, Management of Environment  in both Paper-1 and 2.
